PROVISIONING THE ROUTER
plan.com routers are designed to plug and play – which means you are not required to add any additional information
such as usernames, passwords, or to adjust settings.
For your information, here are the automatic steps that your router will undertake before it is ready to use:
1. Follow the steps as outlined on the first page of this guide
2. Once powered on, the router will connected to the internet and communicate with our auto-provisioning
server – all of your customer information will be downloaded onto the router within a couple of seconds
3. The router will reboot itself automatically and once rebooted, your router is provisioned and ready to go
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Read the installation guide thoroughly before you set up the router
• The router is a complicated electronic unit that may be repaired only be authorised and qualified personnel
• Do not try to open or repair the router yourself
• Do not place the router in a damp or humid place, e.g. a bathroom
• The router should be used in a sheltered area, within a temperature range of +5 to +40 Celsius
• Do not expose the router to direct sunlight or other heat sources. The housing and electronic components
may be damaged by direct sunlight or heat sources.
• Do not deploy the cable for LAN connection outdoor to prevent electronic shock hazards
• Keep the package out of reach of children
• When you want to dispose of the router, please follow local regulations on conservation of the environment
