Using the Edit feature

The Edit feature is used to create, load or save batch scans. For instance, if your
current batch scan folder is "35mm slides" and you wish to load another batch
scan folder called "4x5 transparencies", you will use the Edit feature and then
load the folder you need.
To use the Edit feature: Launch the Batch Scan program from your Apple menu,
then go to the Batch menu and choose the Edit command. The ScanWizard Pro
interface will appear. In the File menu of the Preview window, you will find
several commands related to the Edit feature. Details follow below.

To verify the current context for batch scanning

Choose the Show Current Batch Path command. By default, the original context
folder is the name of your scanner model (e.g., ScanMaker 5), stored in the Plug-
ins folder of your image-editing software.

To create a new batch scan folder

Choose New Batch Command. When a dialog box appears, create the new folder.

To load a batch scan folder

Choose Load Batch Command. When a dialog box appears, locate and select the
folder to be loaded, and click the Select... button. Exit the batch scan program,
and when a message appears asking if you wish to start batch scanning, choose
"Later" (to delay scanning to another time); or choose "Now" to start batch
scanning immediately.

To save scan job(s) into a batch scan folder

Choose Save Batch Command. When a dialog box appears, specify the name of
the folder where the batch scans will be stored.
