No one should use or service this machine without proper training and supervision. All operators should be thoroughly familiar with the procedures contained in this Manual. Even so BIRO cannot anticipate every circumstance or environment in which its products will be used. 1. Read this Manual thoroughly before installation and operation. Do not proceed with installation and operation if you have any questions or do not understand anything in this Manual. Contact your local Distributor, or BIRO first. 2. Upon receipt of the machine, check packaging for damage. Be sure to remove all contents prior to disposal of packaging.

CONVEYOR AND CONVEYOR BELT INSTALLATION 1. Ensure conveyor and conveyor belt are clean prior to installation. 2. Slide the belt over the conveyor arm. With slack on the right side of the belt, insert conveyor arm onto the conveyor support shaft while sliding the belt over the conveyor roller. 3.

DRUM ADJUSTMENT AND INSTALLATION While the hole diameter is fixed on the former drum, the thickness of the patty is adjustable. See pictures below. 1. Loosen the Black knob or T-handle which presses against the cam. 2. Adjust the cam, by turning it you will notice the thickness or depth of the pusher changes. Adjust to desired depth. Tighten the Black knob or T-handle securing the cam at your chosen depth.

PAPER PUSHER ASSEMBLY LOADING AND INSTALLATION 1. To Remove Paper Pusher Assembly lift to lock into Release Lever, press locking pin to remove assembly. a. Slide Paper Pusher Assembly from machine. b. Bring Paper Pusher plate and Paper Housing together, locking spring under tension. c.

Perform lockout/tagout procedures before cleaning. 2. Parts to be removed have been made accessible and can be removed without tools.

Machine should be generally inspected every time it is cleaned (at least daily) to ensure that it is in good condition and has not been damaged or tampered with.
The Paddle must always clear the hopper pins. Replace if neccesary. SWITCHES: The F1000N has three switches, a Main Power Switch, a Green Start Button, and a Red Stop Button. These switches should be inspected and replaced if neccesary.
