ELECTRICAL SAFETY
• Never operate unit if cord is damaged or loose.
• Keep unit away from water or other liquid. If the unit falls into
water, unplug it immediately; do not reach into the water or
liquid. Send to Henry Schein® ProRepair for evaluation and repair.
• Do not use extension cord to operate.
• When unplugging unit, grasp plug with a dry hand. Never jerk cord.
• Do not use outdoors or in an extremely humid or damp
environment.

• For professional use only.
• Turn off unit before unplugging.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment during use
and cleaning.
• Use only with adequate ventilation.
• Sterilize handpieces after each maintenance cycle.

The Maxima XTEND AX Handpiece Maintenance System is intended for cleaning and lubrication prior to sterilization of high‑speed,
low‑speed, and electric handpieces as well as cartridge‑style sonic air scalers.

during an electrical storm, turn machine off and do not touch
machine or cord.
• This unit has a grounded plug as a safety feature. Never bypass.
• Keep unit away from excessive heat sources.
• Only use 115 V ac 60Hz input power.
• Keep workspace clean and free of debris.
• Only use accessories approved for use with this product.
• If any abnormalities are found, stop using immediately and
contact Henry Schein® ProRepair.
• Do not expose to direct heat or open flame.

• Be sure to only select maintenance station(s) that have handpiece(s) installed. Note: Do not depress buttons or open front door of Maxima XTEND AX while machine is running, this will cause maintenance cycle to be interrupted. If this occurs, open door completely to reset machine and then start lubrication and internal cleaning cycle again. -
