It provides users with gigabit broadband access using Ethernet/Wi-Fi uplink technologies. Connect the K572 power cable to a nearby power outlet. NO TE If your home gateway is a Huawei smart gateway (consult your device provider for more information), the Wi-Fi SSID and password of the gateway will be automatically synchronized to the K572, and there is no need to reset the Wi-Fi parameters of the K572. -

Wi-Fi cascading is supported. WPS Code Pairing Operation Guide (Used Together with a Huawei Gateway*) * indicates the K572 or a Huawei gateway that supports SmartLink (for details, contact the service provider). Third-party gateways are not supported. Place the K572 close to the home gateway (within 2 meters) and power it on. - Page 8 After the indicator turns steady white, Wi-Fi is expanded successfully. NO TE If your home gateway is a Huawei smart gateway (consult your device provider for more information), the Wi-Fi SSID and password of the gateway will be automatically synchronized to the K572. Otherwise, use the Wi-Fi SSID and password of the K572 (see the nameplate at the bottom) to access the Internet.

What can I do if a problem occurs when I set the Internet access mode in a wired network expansion scenario? You can check the indicator status of the Huawei OptiXstar K572. If the indicator is steady red, Internet access is unavailable. - Page 12 Enter the IP address in the address box of a browser and press Enter.
