The ResMed Astral Battery Pack has been designed specifically
for use with the Astral series of ventilators. Please refer to
the Astral User Guide packed with your device for complete
instructions on the correct use of the device with the Battery
Pack. The Astral User Guide is also available to download from
www.resmed.com on the Products page under Service and
Support.
WARNINGS
• Only charge the battery using ResMed approved
charging systems such as the Astral series of
ventilators.
• Do not store above +50°C (+122°F), crush, mutilate,
reverse polarity, disassemble or dispose of in fire.
• Do not store the battery for more than six months
without recharge.
• Do not store the battery in a depleted state (0% of
charge).
• Do not expose the battery to water, rain or high
moisture levels.
• Do not short circuit the battery contacts.
• Avoid hard, physical impact on the battery.
Lithium-ion batteries have built in safety protection circuits, but
can still be dangerous if they are not used correctly. Damaged
batteries can become inoperative or catch fire.
