RDZ CoRe Air Speed Quick Manual

The CoRe Air Speed Control is a device that displays and regulates, by means of touch buttons and dedicated
LEDs on the screen, the modes and respective operating speeds of the ventilation unit as well as the display for
any alarms.
OPERATION DESCRIPTION
Wich the CoRe Air Speed control, the user can set various operating modes of the ventilation unit as illustrated below:
Mode Description
In this mode the unit is switched off;
OFF
to activate this mode press the MODE button several times for 2" until the button itself remains lit.
AWAY
In this mode the machine renews the air by recovering heat at the lowest set speed;
(V1) To activate this mode press the MODE button several times for 2" until the led remains lit.
MANUAL
In this mode the user can set the air quantity to renew. The flow rate is set using the UP and DOWN buttons.

To activate this mode press the MODE button several times for 2" until the MAN button lights up.
When the machine is in MANUAL or PRG mode, it is possible to increase the speed of the fans for a preset
BOOST
time in order to exchange air faster.
(V3)
Press the BOOST button once to activate this mode and press the BOOST button again to select the duration.
When the machine is in MANUAL mode it is possible to activate only the extraction fan and switch off the air
supply fan. To be used in situations where there is a momentary need to favour the expulsion of ambient air
EXTRACTION
outside the building.
To activate and deactivate this function, press the UP button for 5".
N.B.: This function must be deactivated by the user; no heat recovery takes place during this function.
When the machine is in MANUAL mode, it is possible to activate only the inlet fan and switch off the air
extraction fan. To be used in situations where there is a need to favour the introduction of external air (e.g.
CHIMNEY
presence of open fireplaces or extractor hoods to compensate for extraction)
To activate and deactivate this function, press the DOWN button for 5".
N.B.: This function must be deactivated by the user; no heat recovery takes place during this function.
With particularly cold external weather conditions there is a real risk for freezing of thr heat exchanger inside
the unit freezing. This function is therefore activated, which entails a reduction in the amount of air supplied

and, in the most serious cases, the temporary shutdown of the unit until the outside temperature conditions

N.B.: This function cannot be managed by the user.
When the outside air has a lower temperature than the inside air, the system keeps the fans switched on by

Press Action
Change the unit's operating mode in the following sequence:
Long Press (2 sec.)
OFF -> MANUAL -> AWAY -> OFF
Short Press Activates BOOST function and sets the operating time
Long Press (2 sec.) Disable BOOST function
• Increase fan speed
Short Press • (wait 4 sec. to confirm change)
• Quick changeover from AWAY to MANUALE
Long Press (5 sec.) Activates the EXTRACTION Function (press 2 sec. to deactivate)
In OFF mode, activates or deactivates the buzzer
Long Press (2 sec.)
(1 beep activation, 2 beeps deactivation)
Decreases fan speed
Short Press
(wait 4 seconds for confirmation of change)
Long Press (5 sec.) Activates CHIMNEY function (press 2 sec. to deactivate)
