How To Set A Vcr Plus+ Recording - GoVideo DVR5000 User Manual

Once you have mapped your
channels, you are ready to
program a VCR Plus+ record-
ing. Open up your local TV
listings and jot down the VCR
PlusCode number for the
program you want to record.
Then follow these simple
instructions.
NOTE: If you want to program
VCR Plus+ recordings from a
cable box or DSS receiver, you
must setup Cable Box Control,
see pages 102-107.

How to Set a VCR Plus+ Recording

Open VCR Plus+ Menu
Press the VCR Plus+ button on the remote control. If
you haven't set the clock, the Set Clock menu will
appear. You must set it before you can program a VCR
Plus+ Recording.

Enter VCR PlusCode Number
Use the number keys to enter the 2 to 8 digit VCR
PlusCode number shown in your local television
programming guide.
• If the code is not valid, INVALID CODE appears on
the screen.
• To correct your entry, press Clear.
• Press the VCR Plus+ button to continue.
VCR PlusCode numbers appear in most
local and national TV listings.
