The JOST LubeTronic 1Point “LT1P” is an automatic lubricating system. It is used for lubricating the specially coated low-wear- ing locking hook of JOST fifth wheel couplings. The LT1P is also used for lubricating the lifting mechanism of the JSK dual height fifth wheel. -

LT1P. ATTENTION! Take care not to damage the type plate. If the type plate is damaged, replace it. JOST fifth wheel couplings and their components have additional installation and operating instructions. These instructions remain valid and must be observed. IMPORTANT! -

Page 10: Intended Use
Intended use ATTENTION! When equipping a fifth wheel coupling with the LT1P, make sure to use suitable lifting gear to place the fifth wheel coupling on the vehicle. Lifting a fifth wheel cou- pling with LT1P using a forklift truck, for example, can cause damage to the LT1P. -

Fifth wheel coupling 6.1.2 Special tools JOST fifth wheel couplings are available with pre-installed LT1P. The LT1P is suitable for retrofitting on low-maintenance fifth wheel couplings of types JSK 34 W, JSK 37 W, JSK 40 W and JSK 42 W. -

LubeTronic is not directly exposed to the rays. Avoid continuous heating of the LubeTronic at over 80 °C. 6.1.5 Replacing the locking hook Follow the instructions in the repair manual of the JOST fifth wheel coupling. After the locking hook has been replaced, the Holder Button head screws locking mechanism needs to be readjusted. -

Pay attention to the repair manual of the JOST JSK DH during instal- lation and removal. ADVICE! If an old lubrication unit (with metal housing) is fitted, all hoses must be replaced when converting to a unit with replaceable plastic cartridge filled with JHS202B. -
