Because a pole pruner is a high-speed
cutting tool with a very long reach some

special safety precautions must be
observed to reduce the risk of personal

injury. Careless or improper use may

cause serious or even fatal injury.

the operating characteristics or the
appearance of your pole pruner attach-

This manual contains warnings,
operating and safety precautions for
the STIHL pole pruner attachment.
Pay special attention to the safety
precautions outlined on pages 3 to 10.

be mounted only to the approved STIHL
power tool models (powerhead with
shaft and handle system). For
approved models, see chapter
"Mounting the Pole Pruner".
