Platter Installation The lower bearing is capped to seal in lubricant during shipping. Remove the cap and, using the included grease applicator, remove some of the grease (making sure to not remove all of the grease) from the inside of the lower bearing and coat the outside of the lower bearing.

Installing Spindle and Turntable Belt Remove the platter strap by unscrewing the brass nuts. Install the record spindle using the three included screws. Warning: Over-tightening the screws may strip the threads in the Delrin platter surface. Install the turntable belt into the groove in the pulley and then into the groove of the platter.

Tonearm Installation Place the tonearm in the base, aligning the slot with pin (1). Tighten screw (2) to secure the tonearm in the base. Tonearm is preset to factory recommendation.

Tonearm Cable Plug in the tonearm cable, aligning the slot with the pin. Install the cable strap with the included screw and route the cable through the rear strap.
40 lbs. Level the table by using a bubble level in all directions (left/right; front/back). The table arrives level for a flat surface. If you are placing your MasterDeck on a level surface, ® the table should need very little adjustments.
Power Supply Connect the power supply to MasterDeck ® Connect the AC cord to the power supply brick. Connect the AC cord to any outlet or power conditioner. Power off your phonostage (not included) and connect the RCA plugs to the appropriate channels.
MoFi Logo (light blue) is displayed for 1 second 2. Press the power button to start the platter. The button will turn orange, the blue MoFi logo will turn on again for a few seconds then calibration will begin. The display window will read “CALIBRATION”...
Operation Set the speed dial to the desired speed and press the power button. The platter will start to spin and the display will show the platter speed in orange as it spins up to speed. The trim knob allows you to adjust the speed from standard 33.3, 45 or/and up to 78 RPM.
Cartridge Installation If a cartridge is not included with the product you’ve purchased, follow the cartridge manufacturer’s installation instructions.. ® If your MasterDeck came with a preinstalled cartridge, these settings were completed at the factory. Setting Azimuth, Overhang, and Zenith Loosening the headshell screw allows the headshell to rotate for azimuth adjustment.
Setting Tracking Force Adjust the tracking force by rotating the knurled nut. Moving the nut toward the cartridge increases the tracking force; moving the nut away from the cartridge decreases the tracking force. Setting Vertical Tracking Angle (VTA) DOWN Adjust the vertical tracking angle (VTA) by loosening the screw on the base and moving the knurled nut up and down.

Setting Anti-Skate Adjust anti-skate force by moving the weights. Movement toward the tonearm decreases force; movement away from the tonearm increases force.
