1 comments:
Mr. Anderson
February 18, 2025

To tune the carburetor on a TVS Jupiter, follow these steps:

1. Warm Up the Engine – Drive the vehicle for at least 10 minutes to ensure the engine is warm.
2. Start the Engine – Turn on the engine to begin the tuning process.
3. Adjust Idle Screw – Rotate the idle screw to increase the RPM.
4. Loosen Air-Fuel Mixture Screw – Slowly loosen the screw until you reach the maximum RPM, then mark this position.
5. Tighten Idle Screw Slightly – Increase the idle screw a little more.
6. Tighten Air-Fuel Mixture Screw – Slowly tighten until you reach the lowest RPM, then mark this position.
7. Loosen Air-Fuel Mixture Screw Slightly – Loosen it by a quarter turn to finalize the adjustment.
8. Test Acceleration – Accelerate and check if the engine shuts down. If it runs smoothly, the tuning is complete.

This process helps in optimizing fuel efficiency and engine performance.
