This User Manual describes installation and setup of the Messenger Lite product. The Messenger Lite is a cost-effective monitoring device for engine-driven equipment. It supports monitoring and reporting of data values from the J1939 SAE engine bus as well as GPS location. It uses a 4G LTE-M cellular data connection to report engine data to the RemoteIQ Cloud service to enable equipment owners and operators to have a complete picture of the status of their equipment fleet at all times.

User Manual If the mounting location is exposed to the elements, the Messenger Lite should be mounted in a vertical position to try and minimize the chance of water entering through the antenna connection. The antenna wires should have a service loop just below the antenna connectors.
