Inserting a Quick Note Into an
Email Message
Quick notes are pre-written messages that you can edit
and send quickly. For more information, see page 5.
To insert a quick note into the email Msg body:

Viewing the Status of Sent
Email Messages
Email messages that you send are stored in the outbox.
Find the Feature
Messages in the outbox are sorted from newest to oldest.
The following indicators show message status:
= delivered

Receiving an Email Message

Note: Your email inbox must be set up before you can
receive email messages.
If your phone is set up to periodically check for new email
messages, your phone displays the

If reminders are turned on, your phone sends a reminder
at regular intervals until you close the new message
notification, read the message, or turn off your phone.
When your phone displays Memory is Full! , you must
delete some existing messages from your inbox, outbox, or
drafts folder to receive new messages.
Tip: New email messages are not downloaded to your
phone until you open them. While downloading a
message, you can press END (
connection with the email server when downloading is
+
complete. Press END (
) a second time to terminate the
connection immediately.
Reading, Locking, or Deleting
an Email Message
Messages in the email inbox are sorted from newest to
oldest. The oldest messages are deleted automatically as
specified by the inbox cleanup setting (see page 11). If you
want to save a message, you should lock it to prevent it
from being deleted during cleanup.
Note: If you create personal folders, the email inbox lists
folders instead of messages. See page 13.
