Receive an Information Services Message
Note: Your information services message inbox must be
set up before you can receive information services
messages. See page 8.
When you receive a lengthy information services
message, your phone displays the
indicator and a New Message notification, and gives an
alert.

open the message (or your
information services
message inbox if there are
multiple messages)
If the new message is a short quick view message, it
appears directly in your display. See page 9.
If reminders are turned on, your phone sends a reminder
at regular intervals until you close the new message
notification, read the message, or turn off your phone.
When your phone displays Memory is Full! , you must
delete some existing messages from your inbox, outbox, or
drafts folder to receive new messages.
Read, Lock, or Delete an Information
Services Message
Messages in the information services message inbox are
sorted from newest to oldest. The oldest messages are
deleted automatically as specified by the inbox cleanup
setting (see page 8). If you want to save a message, you
should lock it to prevent it from being deleted during
cleanup.

The Info Srvc Menu can include the following options:

Lock or unlock the message.

Open a new phonebook entry with
the message's embedded number
in the No. field.
Delete
Delete the message
Delete All
Delete all inbox messages
Store Address
Open a new phonebook entry with
the message's embedded email
address in the Email field.
Setup
Open the information services
message inbox setup menu
Read and Save a Quick View Message
Quick view messages are short information service
messages that appear directly in your phone's idle display.
Your phone alerts you when you receive a new quick view
message.

automatically save quick view messages, see page 8.
Note: Broadcast or browser services send quick view
messages on quick view channels. To set up a quick view

Using Chat

You can exchange text messages in real time
with another wireless phone user in a chat
session . The messages you send appear
immediately on your chat partner's phone.
