2.9.6 DIAGNOSTICS.

Select the 'DIAGNOSTIC' window to view some system information in-
cluding MAC address of the radio module, quality of the Bluetooth signal,
current status of the connection between Gateway and Chrono-thermostat,
battery level and HW and SW version of the Chrono-thermostat.
This window is also used if you need to make a new pairing between
Gateway and Chrono-thermostat (see further details in the Smartech Plus
installation manual).

Note: the 'Signal Strenght' field in-
dicates the quality of the Bluetooth
transmission between Gateway and
Chrono-thermostat. It is recom-
mended to use this indication when
looking for the proper position of
the devices. The indications provid-
ed are as follows:
- Excellent: stable and strong sig-
nal.
- Good: stable signal.
- Poor: weak signal, the two devic-
es should be moved closer.
- Disconnected: signal quality is
insufficient, move the two devices
closer.
Note: the maximum communica-
tion distance between Gateway and
Chrono-thermostat is 10 metres in
open field. The maximum actual
distance might be shorter if there
are walls, ceilings or obstacles be-
tween the two devices.

2.9.7 DESIRED ROOM TEMPERATURE SETTING.

The desired room temperature can be changed quickly by rotating the
thermostat body. If the 'PROGRAM ON' mode is activated (automatic
operation, see Par.2.9.12), this operation forces the device into temporary
manual operation, i.e. the set temperature remains active until the next
activation time slot (Fig. 27).
