Turn the SOUELCH CONTROL |
counterclockwise until noise can |
be heard and reset it just below :
the threshold.
Check
the external speaker cable is cut.
Replace the battery with a new |
one or recharge it.
Check the connection of the
antenna and correct any pro-
blems.
Check the feed line and correct
any improper condition.

plug is inserted properly or if :

RF Power switch is set at the
Low position.
The battery has been exhausted.
Set the RF Power switch to the
High position.
Replace the battery with a new
one or recharge it.
