TYRE PRESSURE
Safety first! The driver is warned if the pressure is too low (deflated or punctured tyre, etc).
All-new Master comes with a direct tyre pressure loss alert, a system that runs during driving (above
40 km/h) and checks every 30 seconds for a loss of pressure compared to the reference pressure,
thanks to sensors in the inflation valve:
TYRE PRESSURE REINITIALISATION
Inform the customer that after any change in pressure in one of the four tyres (e.g. after using the inflation kit, over-inflating
the tyre for motorway driving, deflating the tyre [if pressure is too high], or after any wheel change or tyre rotation), it is
essential to systematically reinitialise the system in accordance
with the reinitialisation procedure in order to avoid unwarranted alerts.
Carry out this procedure with the customer in order to reinitialise the reference value using the button located on the
dashboard to the right of the steering wheel.
Tap button (3) or (4) repeatedly in order to select the "Tyre pressure acquisition" function on the display (2). Then press and hold button (3) or
(4) (for around 3 seconds) to launch initialisation.
The "Tyre pressure acquisition launched" message will be displayed, indicating that the request has been received.
Reinitialisation is complete after driving at over 40 km/h for several minutes.
►Inform your customer that the tyre pressure reinitialisation must be performed when the engine is cold.
►A sudden loss of tyre pressure (e.g. from a burst tyre) may not be detected by the system.
DISPLAY CONFIGURATIONS
Explain the various display configurations of the
orange indicator light:
Readjust tyre pressure:
If the pressure in at least one tyre is not high
enough, the
indicator light comes
on, accompanied by the message "Readjust tyre
pressure". These indicate that at least one tyre
is deflated.
