The
Model lOOA
has
been designed
to
take
ad
an-
tage
of
the
ever-increasing use of the famous "B-Typ "
·
Dolby System of audio
noise
reduction. The wide-
pread
use of
the Dolby
y
tern
with home tape recorder , the
increasing
catalog of Dolby-processed
prerecord d
cassettes,
and the late t application of the Dolby y
tern
to FM
broadcasting
have all contributed to
Advent'
incorporating
into
the
Model l OOA a degree of flexibility
found in no
other
noise reduction
unit
or recorder
with
built-in
Dolby circuitry.
For clarity's
sake, these
In tructions ar
divided into
two sections.
The
first of
these,
ORMAL
Mode of

lOOA, explains
how to
use
the Model lOOA for making
and
playing Dolby-proce
ssed
tapes
on the recorder
connected to it. For
these purpose , the
Model
100

MODE switch must be in the
ORMAL

ition.
The
second
section,

how to
use
the
Mode

as decoding
Dolby-processed FM broadca

making
copies
of Dolby-processed tape
