Word
about
the ontrols
When making a
recording,
use only the I PUT
LEVEL,
RE ORD
LEVEL,
and OUTPUT LEVEL
controls on the Model lOOA to adjust recording and
playback
volumes,
not the record and output level
con-
trol on
your
recorder.
Your recorder's level
controls
mu t be
left
exactly where
you set
them during calibra-
tion. If you inadvertently disturb the recorder's
controls,
you
will have to
go
back and
re-calibrate.
When making
a
recording, use
your
recorder's
r
cord level indicators to
set
levels, not the Model
lOOA's
Dolby Level meter
,
which are only used for
calibration.
When using only
one
pair of LINE
inputs,
turn the
I
P
LEVEL
controls
for the unused pair
all
the way
down
(counterclockwise).
Finally,
be
sure
that the
lOOA's
MODE
switch
is
set
to ORMAL.
Adju tin for Proper
