Connect the device to the power line after fixing it firmly to the power connection terminal. Connect the power plug to the outlet to power the device.

If you forcefully install the product with excessive force, malfunction can damage the camera.  3. Do not punch or shake the camera and be careful not to damage the camera with careless storage or mal- function.

Confirm the installation location can bear five times of the weight of your camera. Do not allow the cabling to be caught, pinched or snagged on the environment or the electric line cover to be damaged.

  • Page 11 QUICK START GUIDE | VX-5M(28)(4)-OT-(R)IW 4 CABLING 4.1 CONNECTING LAN (RJ45) CABLE  1. Pass the LAN cable through the (a) lid.  2. Insert the cap into the slit in the (b) rubber. When inserting the cap choose either the available 4.5Ø or 5.5Ø rubber sizes.

See "Connecting LAN (RJ45) Cable" on the previous page for more info.  ■ Max Distance - 100m  ■ PoE - IEEE 802.3af  2. DC12V Power Connection - Confirm supply voltage before connecting.
