AIR CURTAIN
WARNING! Always disconnect, lock and tag
power source before installing or servicing.
Failure to do so can result in fire, shock or
serious injury.
WARNING! Installation work and electrical
wiring must be done by qualified person(s) in
accordance with all applicable codes and
standards, including fire-rated construction.
NOTE: Minimum mounting height is 8.2' (2.5 m).
NOTE: Install the unit on a sturdy supporting
structure that will resist vibration.
NOTE: Units are intended for INDOOR USE ONLY.
Install the unit on the inside of the doorway or
opening.
NOTE: Do not install the unit where it might
come in contact with water, excessive steam,
explosive gas or corrosive gas.
NOTE: For entrances wider than the unit, it is
recommended to install two or more units in
parallel. Leave a gap of 3/4 to 1½".
1. Unscrew the mounting plate and remove it from the
back of the main body. (See Figure 1)

INSTALLATION
Mounting Plate
WARNING! To reduce the risk of fire or electrical
shock, do not use this fan with any solid-state
speed control device.
WARNING! Repair and maintenance operations
can only be performed by qualified personnel.
WARNING! Verify that the rated voltage and
frequency of the air curtain is in compliance
with the mains supply. Refer to the rating label
for information.
2. Use the mounting plate to determine the mounting
location. Fix mounting plate to wall using
appropriate fasteners for the mounting surface.
(Fasteners not included.)
3. Mount the main body onto the mounting plate and
attach with screws. (See Figure 2)
