CDI-160BT Preface Thank you for purchasing this DAP product. The purpose of this user manual is to provide instructions for the correct and safe use of this product. Keep the user manual for future reference as it is an integral part of the product. The user manual shall be stored at an easily accessible location.

Description of the Device The DAP CDI-160BT is a CD and media player and is designed for installation into a 19-inch rack. The device features DAB+, FM and an internet radio, as well as a USB port and Bluetooth 5.0. There are both balanced and unbalanced outputs on the back of the device.

CDI-160BT 4.3. Connecting the Wireless Antennas The device is delivered with 2 wireless antennas. The antennas are not connected. To install the antennas: 01) Put the 2 wireless antennas into the BT antennna connector (11) and the Wi-Fi antenna connector (16).
CDI-160BT 4.7. Installation of the Batteries The device can be operated with an IR remote control. The remote control is included in the delivery. The remote control is delivered without batteries. It accepts 2 x AAA 1,5 V (alkaline) batteries.
CDI-160BT Setup 5.1. Warnings and Precautions Attention Connect all data cables before supplying power. Disconnect power supply before connecting or disconnecting data cables. 5.2. Setup Example The figure below shows a typical setup with 2 streaming devices and 2 active speakers connected through an amplifier to the device.

CD Player To play a compact disc, insert a CD into the CD slot (06). The CDI-160BT will read the disc and start playing automatically. The CDI-160BT has buttons to control the CD player (see 7.5.1. Control buttons for CD player on page 29).
CDI-160BT 7.6. DAB Radio In this menu, you can browse through and listen to DAB radio stations. Note: To be able to browse through DAB radio stations, you need to search for and save them on the device. 01) Press the tune/select control (09) to start the scan. The display shows "Scan DAB station?".
In this menu, you can stream sound via Bluetooth signals from your mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, notebooks, etc.). To be able to stream sound via Bluetooth signals, the CDI-160BT needs to be paired with your mobile device. 01) Start Bluetooth on your mobile device.
