FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

Pack includes

• Heavy duty barrel spring base

• Fibreglass radome

• Length of antenna is 640mm*

• Grub screw and hex key to secure the fibreglass whip

• Low-loss coaxial cable (4.5m)

• Pre-terminated FME connector and PL259 adaptor

IMPORTANT

- Always fit in accordance with State Road & Traffic Safety Guidelines

Installation

1. Remove the shroud protecting the cable at the base of the antenna.

2. Install the spring base onto the bracket (not supplied). Tighten in a clockwise

direction using a wrench or spanner. IMPORTANT: Do not exceed 50N.

3. Remove the cap from the top of the spring base and

install the fiberglass extension pole on to the base by

turning in a clockwise direction and secure in place

with the grub screw (using the hex key provided).

Hand tighten only MAX. 15N.
