COTTONS
For cotton fabrics with-
out special finishes.
PERMANENT PRESS
For cotton blends, poly-
ester blends and syn-
thetics such as acrylic,
nylon and ramie.
FINE/DELICATES
For synthetics, machine
washable silks, lace or
crocheted (non-woolen)
items, curtains and
knits.
WOOLENS
For all machine wash-
able woolens and wool

Temperature

85 - 105°F For dark colored items.
105 - 120°F For light colored items.
140 - 190°F Exclusively white items.
85° For dark fabrics which are a blend
105 - 120°F or 100% synthetic fabrics.
140°F For light colored cotton or synthetic
items.
For white polyester/cotton items.
cold - 85°F For dark colored silks and all syn-
thetic items (lingerie).
105 - 120°F For light colored silks and lace ta-
140°F blecloths.
For white cotton lace and crocheted
items.
cold Use detergents made specifically
for wool. Reduce or turn off the spin
speed for "hand wash only" or
nonwool items.
cold For tablecloths, napkins, aprons
and shirts.
For spinning wet items not washed
in the machine (hand washed).
Such items must be suitable for ma-
chine spinning.
For use when the laundry is to be
removed wet for drip drying.
Normally used in
conjunction with "Without final spin".
For hand washed items that can be
gently rinsed, and if desired, spun.
