A. Setting the Support Legs

To use the three Support Legs, fold them downward. There are three pre-set angles

available which can be selected by depressing the Angle Lock (see picture).

Page 2 Interchanging the Mounting Screw Size The size of the pre-installed Mounting Screw on the Monopod CM-1443 is ¼”, while the size of the pre-installed Mounting Screw on the Monopod CM-1473 is 3/8”. In order to attach Ball Heads or other accessories which require a different size, the Mounting Screw is reversible and features both of these common screw sizes on its two ends (see picture).

Spike (optional) Installation Model CM-1443: Remove the Rubber Cap on the end of the leg by twisting and working it forward – it fits snugly in order to prevent it from coming off accidentally. After it is removed, a thread is exposed at the tip of the leg, into which a Long or Short Spike can be screwed (for use on scratch- sensitive surfaces, remove Spike and replace Rubber Cap).
