    1. GENERAL PRECAUTIONS  Check that the cooker hood has not been damaged during transport.  Do not leave the packaging materials (bags, corner brackets, etc...) within the reach of children.  This appliance must only be used by adults. Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with it.

  • Page 5 2. TIPS AND SUGGESTIONS The cooker hood has two different modes of operation: Air recirculation: The air is drawn in and cleaned first by the grease filters and then by a charcoal filter. The cleaned air is then recirculated back into the kitchen (check at the warning and safety instructions for the replacement timing Page4) Air extraction: The air is drawn in and cleaned by the grease filters and directed outside (check at the warning and safety instructions for the replacement timing Page 15...

  • Page 7 Advice: -Never reduce flue diameter right next to the hood outlet fitting (Fig.1). - Never fit reductions next to curves or bends in the installations. They must always be in straight sections and as fas as possible from the hood.(Fig.2). - Always avoid flues running downwards, as this drastically reduces extraction capacity Fig.3 - Keep the curves or bends in the installation to a minimum (Fig.4).

    OPERATION 3.1 Electric keypad: To obtain the best performance, turn on the hood a few minutes before starting to cook and leave it on for at least 10 minutes after you have finished cooking. The hood has a 4-speed (in 4th speed, after 15 minutes returns to the 3rd speed), electronic keypad with a white or stainless steel finish.

    3.2 Vertical electric keypad: To obtain the best performance, turn on the hood a few minutes before starting to cook and leave it on for at least 10 minutes after you have finished cooking.     3.3 Touch Control keypad: To obtain the best performance, turn on the hood a few minutes before starting to cook and leave it on for at least 10 minutes after you have finished cooking. The hood has a 4-speed touch keypad. The buttons have the following functions: A.- Light switch: Press this switch to turn the lights on and off.

    3.4 Top keypad: To obtain the best performance, turn on the hood a few minutes before starting to cook and leave it on for at least 10 minutes after you have finished cooking. The hood has a 4-speed electronic keypad. The buttons have the following functions: A.- TIMER increase warning button: Press this button to increase the time programmed in the TIMER (warning alarm).

    3.5 Remote control: Starting the hood for the first time using the remote control: Put the safety switch to ON (this switch is inside the hood). Wait about 5 seconds for the circuit to test the memory. To obtain the best performance, turn on the hood a few minutes before starting to cook and leave it on for at least 10 minutes after you have finished cooking.
  • Page 13 3.5.2 Generating a new transmission code 1- Press and hold the buttons simultaneously (A,B,C) until all lights will be flickering at the same time in the remote control. 2- After the lights light up , press the buttons (B,C) , the lights will flash 3 times to indicate that the process is completed.

    MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING Before performing any maintenance or clearing, disconnect the cooker hood from the mains. 4.1. Grease filter The function of the grease filter is to absorb the grease particles given off during cooking.  To remove the filter press handle A and remove it through the front guide; bend it slightly and remove it.

    4.4. To Place charcoal filters in the hoods (at the indicated models). 1.- Remove metal filter and the base plate of compensated aspiration ( if your model is provided with) unscrewing 6-8 screws (according to the size). 2.- Slide the metal filter (A) from up to down, as we show in the image. Centra/Island hoods are provided with an special reinforce, as a clip, to facilitate to take out the filter.

Mounting instructions for round carbon filters (at the indicated models) 1.- We face the filter to the of the engine, making coincide the notches. 2.- Fitted over the motors and secured by giving them a quarter turn 3.-. We repeat the operation in the opposite side of the blower REMARK: Replace the charcoal filter when it no longer absorbs kitchen odours.

    4.6. Replacing the halogen bulb Before: Disconnect the hood from the mains. 1. Press on the indicated zone (push) (1) 2. Open the gate to an angle of 90º. 3. Insert a new 50W 12V halogen bulb as indicated (2) and (3) 4.

    INSTALLATION WARNING! The manufacturer warns users not to connect the air outlet of the hood to boiler chimneys, gas evacuation chimneys, fumes or steam evacuation chimneys or any other type of ducts, even ventilation ducts, that are or could be used for other purposes or by other appliances. It also warns them not to connect the evacuation pipe with fumes coming from adjacent premises or wells, particularly if these are fire-prevention installation pipes.

    5.4. Island hood installation 1.-Calculate and measure the total height between the hood and the cook-top (page 5,6). Fix the structure (a) on the ceiling with screws. 2.- Fix the upper duct (b) to the structure(B) with the screws supplied 3.- Slide the chimney on the assembled structure (C) Ensure the fixing.

    5.5. Installing the telescopic structure. (NADIRA ISLA [island]) 1.- Join the side pieces to the roof of the structure with the screws provided, as shown in the figure (Detail A). 2.- Secure the top structure firmly to the ceiling. 3.- Join the side pieces to the base of the structure with the screws provided, as shown in the figure (Detail B).

Installing the Anthea/Maya mod. island structure 1.- Secure part (A) firmly to the ceiling, considering that the notch (D) (see Detail A) indicates where the hood controls will be facing once the installation has been completed.     5.7. Installing the glass panes (wall-mounted and island Maya models). 1.- Put the glass pane (A) in position with the glass anchoring bracket (B). 2.- Secure the glass panes with the screws provided (D). N.B.; put the nylon washer (C) provided between the glass plane and the screw.

    5.8. Changing the motor to the rear outlet (only in the models indicated). 1.- Loosen the 4 M4.8x16 screws (Fig. A) as shown in the illustration. 2.- Remove the machined cover for the rear outlet (Fig. B), and then turn the motor until it coincides with the resulting hole.

AVVERTENZE GENERALI  Verificare che la cappa non abbia subito danni durante il trasporto.  Non lasciare i materiali da imballaggio (sacchetti, angolari di protezione, ecc.) alla portata dei bambini.  Questo apparecchio deve essere utilizzato solo da persone adulte, pertanto, si deve fare attenzione che i bambini non si avvicino allo stesso per giocarci.

  • Page 39 3.5.2 Reset e creazione di un nuovo codice del telecomando: tenere premuti i tre pulsanti (A, B, C) fino a che non si accendono tutte le luci del telecomando. una volta accese tutte le luci, rapidamente, mantenere premuti i pulsanti (B, C) fino a che le luci non lampeggiano tre volte, questo significa che abbiamo generato un codice nuovo.

    4. MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA Prima di eseguire qualsiasi operazione di manutenzione o pulizia, la cappa deve essere scollegata dalla rete elettrica. 4.1. Filtro antigrasso La funzione del filtro antigrasso è quella di assorbire le particelle di grasso che si formano durante la cottura.

Togliere le 6-8 viti (a seconda del modello della cappa). 2.- Collocare il filtro di carbonio facendolo scorrere lungo le guide (A) dall’alto verso il basso, come mostrato nell’immagine.

Collocamento filtri di carbonio integrati nel motore (solo modelli indicati). 1.- Mettere il filtro davanti al lato del motore, facendo coincidere le parti. 2.- Una volta fatto, girare di un quarto di giro verso qualsiasi direzione. (Per estrarre eseguire l’operazione a ritroso) 3.- ripetere l’operazione nel lato opposto del motore.

    4.6. Sostituzione della lampada alogena Prima: scollegare la cappa dalla rete elettrica. 5. Premere sulla zona indicata (PUSH) (1). 6. Aprire il pannello a 90º. 7. Sostituire la lampada alogena con una nuova da 50 W, 12 V, come indicato (2) e (3). 8.

    5. MONTAGGIO ATTENZIONE! La ditta costruttrice vieta all’utente di collegare lo scarico d’aria della cappa aspirante a camini di caldaie, sistemi di evacuazione di gas, fumi o vapori o a qualsiasi altra conduttura, anche solo di ventilazione, che sia o possa essere usata per altri scopi o per altri apparecchi. Vieta altresì di collegare il tubo di evacuazione con i fumi provenienti da locali adiacenti o pozzi, tanto meno se sono tubi per impianti antincendio.

    5.3. Montaggio della struttura telescopica delle cappe a isola. Procedura per l’installazione della cappa a isola. Se la struttura non è montata, seguire queste istruzioni: 1.- Unire le parti laterali al tetto della struttura con le viti fornite, come indicato nella figura (dettaglio A). 2.- Fissare i tiranti ai lati con le viti fornite come mostrato nella figura (dettaglio B).

Anthea/Maya 1.- Fissare l'elemento (A) al soffitto solido, tenendo conto del fatto che la tacca (D) (vedi Dettaglio A) indica il punto di orientamento dei comandi della cappa una volta terminata l'installazione. DETTAGLIO A  DETTAGLIO B  2.- Fissare l'elemento (C) ad (A) tramite le viti in dotazione. 3.- Fissare l'elemento (B) al tetto della cappa.
