Using the remote control

ALARM ON/OFF: Activates or cancels the alarm function. (
TIME ADJ: Adjusts the clock of this unit. (
SLEEP: Sets the sleep timer. (
TIMER: Sets the countdown timer. (
Select the desired track or preset station directly. (
Adjust the sound.
TONE: Adjusts the bass and treble balance. (
EQ: Selects the equalizer mode. (
Changes the displayed information. (
Sets this unit to the repeat playback mode. (
Control playback.

Use the remote control within 6 m (20 feet) of this unit and point

• Do not put obstacles between the sensor of this unit and the remote control. Doing
so, you cannot operate this unit by the remote control.
• Do not spill liquid on the remote control.
• Do not drop the remote control.
• Do not leave the remote control in the following places:
– hot or humid places such as bathroom or near a heater
– extremely cold places
– dusty places
