a. Improperly wired

e. Extreme head pressure

a. power supply open
b. Compressor motor
compressor open
c. Open control
d. Burned motor windings
a. Low line voltage
b. Improperly wired

d. Defective start relay
a. Make sure wires are
connected to the correct
terminals
b. Make sure supply
voltage is no less than 5%
below machines rated
voltage
c. Check capacitors
e. Let pressures equalize,
check for reason for
excessive head pressure

draw
a. Check to make sure
there is a power supply to

compressor has cooled
