Symbols on the display

The top line shows the handset
number.
When you make a call, it shows
dialled numbers, call duration and
other information.
Memory/Store
Appears when you press the
store a number in memory or to make a call to a
stored number.
Battery level
Shows how fully charged the handset's batteries are.
When it shows 'Low', replace the handset on the base
unit or charger pod to charge the batteries. While the
= 'Low'
batteries are being charged, the bars on this symbol
move continuously.
Ringer/
Appears when you're setting the ringer melody and
Ringer Off
volume.
'Ringer Off' is shown while the ringer is turned off.
Speakerphone
Lock
Phone line/
This is on steadily when you are connected to the
secrecy
telephone line. It flashes for an incoming call, or when
your handset is being paged from another handset.
The
X
appears when the microphone is muted.
Caller Display
Flashes when you have new Caller Display records. It
comes on steadily when you have listened to the
records but not yet deleted them from memory.
Antenna
Comes on steadily when your handset is within range
of the base unit. It flashes if you go out of range.
Intercom
Appears when you make an intercom call to another
handset.
Arrows
When a number is too long for the display, these show
that you can press the
MEMORY
button to
or
buttons to scroll.
