    Manual Joy KNX 1. General informa�on and safety instruc�ons A prerequisite for safe working is compliance with the specified safety instruc�ons and handling instruc�ons. The installa�on and assembly of electrical devices (modules) may only be carried out by an authorised electrician.

    Manual Joy KNX 2.2.2. Header The header is used to display the date and �me. An info symbol is also displayed here if required or depending on certain states/modes. Date & Time (General > Date & Time) The date and �me display can be switched on and the display format selected in drop-down menus. Synchroniza�on of the currently valid values (date & �me) can be ac�vated or deac�vated.

    Manual Joy KNX 2.3. Bu�ons There are bu�ons on the touch surface for opera�ng the configured func�ons. Pressing the bu�on once triggers an ac�on. A long press of the bu�on causes a value to change cyclically at 0.5s intervals.Each �me the bu�ons are pressed, the ring on the power bu�on lights up as bu�on feedback.

    Manual Joy KNX 3.3.2. ETS Applica�on program The configura�on or parameteriza�on is carried out - as is typical for KNX - via ETS. (ETS5.0 or higher) When parameterizing/configuring the devices, you should always proceed “from top to bo�om” in the menu.

A variant-specific configura�on corresponding to the hardware version is required via the ETS. Temperature By default, the value of the internal temperature sensor is used as the actual value for the internal controller.

    Manual Joy KNX 4.1.3. Outputs The outputs are assigned fixed func�ons. Depending on the device type, these can be manually overridden in different ways. For example, the digital outputs can only be manually overridden in conjunc�on with the controller mode or the fan speed. The analog outputs can be used freely.

    Joy KNX 4.2. Regelung The JOY has a PI or two-point controller for hea�ng and cooling. The control variable is output via the relays/outputs. The controller starts a�er a cold start (voltage on) of the device with a 30-second delay.
