  • Page 18 1-4 Instrument Setup Attaching and detaching the printer To use with the printer (sold separately), attach it to the instrument according to the following procedure.  Attaching the printer Align the instrument with the printer and press downward until the instrument clicks into place. Make sure that the top of the instrument and printer are horizontally level with one another and both units are firmly locked to each other.

For disinfection of the device, lightly wipe the area to be disinfected with a cotton swab or gauze moistened with a disinfectant, then wipe the disinfectant with a cotton swab or gauze moistened with water, and then wipe it dry.

    Chapter 5 Troubleshooting The instrument displays error codes when malfunctions occur during measurement. This chapter describes these errors and how to recover the instrument from the errors. When an Error Occurs You will see an error code on the display (and also on the printout, if using the printer) when there is a problem with measurement or printing.
