The Schlage BE468 Touchscreen Deadbolt requires four high-quality alkaline AA batteries.

To replace the batteries in a Schlage BE468 Touchscreen Deadbolt:

1. Remove the battery cover from the Inside Assembly.

2. Unsnap the connector.

3. Remove the battery tray.

4. Install the alkaline AA batteries.

Snap the connector back into place. 7. Install the battery cover. Note: If the low battery does not automatically clear on the customer's equipment list, request an updated status from the lock using the Partner Portal or MobileTech app.
