    Integrated Debugger ID850QB V2.80 Operating Precautions (SUD-DT-04-0007) 2. FILES NECESSARY FOR EXECUTING ID850QB V2.80 The following files are necessary for using ID850QB V2.80. (1) ID850QB system file (this product) Included in the folder “ID850QB\” in the CD-ROM. (2) USB driver (supplied with ID850QB) The USB driver is installed when the ID850QB is installed.

USB driver ID850QB Device file 3.1 USB Driver and ID850QB It is necessary to install the USB driver before using IECUBE. The USB driver is installed when the ID850QB is installed.

(8) The font size of the help menu is affected by the font settings in Internet Explorer. The display is too large in the default size (“Medium”) of Internet Explorer.

The following screens are displayed sequentially after a short while, and the V850 IECUBE can then be used.

This installer allows the device file to be installed in the Win32 environment.

(1) Turn on power to the host machine and start Windows. (2) Start "Add/Remove Programs" in the Control Panel. (3) Select "NEC ID850QB V850 Integrated Debugger V2.80" from the list displayed on the Install/Uninstall tab and click the [Add/Remove...] button.

    Integrated Debugger ID850QB V2.80 Operating Precautions (SUD-DT-04-0007) 4.2 USB Driver 4.2.1 Caution on uninstallation The registry settings of the Device Manager and installation information stored in the WINDOWS\INF directory (or WINNT\INF directory) are not deleted by uninstalling the driver. As a result, the driver version may not be displayed correctly when the driver is updated. 4.2.2 Procedure for uninstalling in Windows 98 or Windows Me This section explains the procedure when uninstalling the USB driver from Windows 98 or Windows (1) Turn on power to the host machine and start Windows.

[Workaround] There is no workaround. In the ROM/flash memory relink function supported by the compiler, it is not possible to perform step-in to a function on the flash memory side from the boot side.

[Workaround] There is no workaround. The access event break is delayed because of the specifications of the on-chip debug unit (the specified address is passed before execution stops).
