Appliances requiring extended periods of continuous or high flow water use (i.e., geothermal heat pumps, swimming pools, lawn irrigation, outside hose bibs, etc.) should bypass all water conditioning equipment unless the equipment has been specifically designed for that purpose.   • Page 12 Note: If the salt tank does not contain salt, fill with salt and wait at least two hours before regenerating. If two regenerations are desired within 24 hour period, press /release REGEN button. REGEN TODAY will flash on screen. Press and hold REGEN button until valve initiates an immediate regeneration.
