EQUIPMENT:
Equipment and systems covered by this certificate are as follows:
EX621 or EXM621 Vibration Sensors are vibration sensor designed and manufactured by PCB piezotronics Inc. These sensors are
evaluated for use in Zone 0 environment. They are evaluated for Ex ia 110 T4 Ga classified hazardous locations. Construction of both
EXM621 and EX 621 is electrical same. Mechanically EXM has M-type of connection for power while EX 621 sensor are equipped with other
type threaded connector. Sensor is powered in classified area using EX certified Barrier. Sensor incorporates Piezo element for sensing
vibration. These signals are amplified internally on amplifier board.
Marking of Ex equipment present in Instruction Manual due to limited real estate on the product. Refer Annex for details on Marking and
Warnings.
SPECIFIC CONDITIONS OF USE: YES as shown be1ow .
1. Equipment does not meet requirement of 6.3.13 for Di-electric Testing per requirement of lEO 60079-11:2011 6th Edition.
