Description of Equipment or Protective System
EX621xyyyIaaa or EXM621xyyyIaaa Vibration Sensors are vibration sensor
designed and manufactured by PCB piezotronics Inc. These sensors are evaluated
for use in Zone 0 environment. They are evaluated for Ex ia tIC T4 Ga classified
hazardous locations. Construction of both EXM621 and EX(XX)621 is electrical
same. Mechanically EXM has M-type of connection for power while EX(XX) sensor
are equipped with other type threaded connector. Sensor is powered in classified
area using EX certified Barrier. Sensor incorporates Piezo element for sensing
vibration. These signals are amplified internally on amplifier board.
