SELECTING THE BEST LIGHTING MODE FOR YOUR RIDE
This rechargeable Planet Bike tail light is built to light your ride
and keep you safe on the road, path, or trail. In some situations,
however, you might not need or want all the luminosity that this
light can generate. That's why we've also given it some unique
features to help you see, and/or be seen in a wide range of cir-
cumstances. Choosing the best mode for the environment you ride
through will help keep you and your fellow path and road users safe.
NIGHTTIME SAFETY:
The Blinky Squared tail light has four different modes depending
on your riding conditions. The two steady modes provide either
30 lumen or 15 lumen for a consistent light to insure being safely
seen by other road and path users. The Courtesy 9-27 lumen
mode fades up and down (but never out) to provide a variable
light output for increased safety and visibility.
DAYTIME SAFETY:
When the sun is at its brightest auto traffic may find it difficult
to identify a cyclist within the landscape. Superflash Day Mode
was designed with daytime riding on bike paths and streets in
mind. The attention grabbing strobe will attract the attention of
motorists, pedestrians, and fellow cyclists during the middle of
the day, alerting them to your presence.
MODE RECALL:
The light will remember the last mode used and return to that
mode when light is turned back on. Hold down the power button
for 1-2 seconds to turn off. Light modes cycles as: High/Low/
Superflash Day/Courtesy.
CHARGING:
Note: Be sure USB-C port on light is free of debris before con-
necting USB-C charging cable.
Flashing blue light = charging
Steady blue light = fully charged
Red light = low battery. 20% power remaining
BATTERY CARE:
Never store battery dead.
Lithium Polymer battery can lose power over time. Charge before
riding if light has not been charged recently.
Expected battery life is 500 charge cycles. Battery capacity and
run times can be reduced over time.
Charge using approved USB-A to USB-C cable only.
Light has auto shut off when light is fully charged, however, never
leave light charging for more than 24 hours.
Keep away from fire and extreme heat.
Do not disassemble or modify. Doing so will void all warranty.

PLANET BIKE WARRANTY:
We are so confident in the quality of our products that we offer
a 2-year warranty to the original owner of Planet Bike products
with rechargeable batteries. Warranty does not cover damage
due to accident, abuse, or normal wear and tear. Any modification
to Planet Bike products will void all warranty. Proof of purchase

DOT REFLECTOR WARNING
Warning: This light is not meant to replace your CPSC reflec-
tors that came with your bicycle. Your reflectors should never
be removed from your bicycle. Riding your bicycle at night is an
inherently dangerous activity. No lighting system can protect
you from inattentive motorists or road hazards. We recommend
strict adherence to traffic laws, and the use of common sense,
caution, reflective clothing and a helmet when riding in the dark.
RECYCLING
Planet Bike End of Life Instructions:
If your light is past its useful life and no longer working as it should,
please attempt to recycle the light with the battery installed at
a local electronics recycling facility. You can find out where to
do this at www.call2recycle.org.
