    Component Identification Air Controls • Air motor regulator and gauge (AA): Controls and displays air pressure supplied to the air motor (B) to drive the displacement pump (C). • Blowoff button (AB): Turns air on and off to push the platen out of an empty pail. The blowoff button is only functional when the elevator director valve (AD) is in the UP (open) position.

    See your pump manual for flushing instructions. Mechanical Setup 1. Fill the displacement pump wet cup 1/3 full with Graco Throat Seal Liquid (TSL). 2. Back-off the air motor regulator (AA) to its full counterclockwise position and close the air motor shutoff valve (AC).

    Overview Overview Basic Supply System Operating Air Motor Regulator and Gauge (AA) Controls Air pressure to the air motor (B) can be adjusted and viewed using the air motor regulator (AA) and gauge.     Overview Change Pails Purge Air From the Fluid Hose and Dispense Valve The elevator lift cylinder (L) raises the displacement pump (C) and platen (D). Blowoff air is used to push the material pail off of the platen as the elevator rises. Without blowoff air, the elevator will lift the pump, platen, and pail.

    Overview Material splatter may occur when blowoff pressure is relieved between the pail lip and the perimeter of the platen (D) as the platen exits the pail. Wear appropriate protective equipment when in the work area to help prevent serious injury from splashing fluid.
