Application range The tool is suitable for crimping electrical connectors manufactured by CEMBRE, included in the table below. Any other application involving the use of connectors other than those shown in the table is to be considered outside the scope of the tool and therefore not suitable, unless validated by CEMBRE.
Page 8 WARNING Do not use the tool for purposes other than those intended by CEMBRE. The operator should concentrate on the work being performed and be careful to maintain a balanced working position. Before starting work on electrical equipment, please ensure that either there are no live parts in the immediate working area or that precautions are taken for working near live parts in accordance with EN50110-1.
Page 9 2.1) Preparation Select the appropriate connector for the cable cross-section to be used. Strip the cable to the appropriate length. Fully insert the conductor into the connector (Fig. 4a). Insert the connector into the head (Fig. 4b). If necessary, open the head by moving the latch (5) outwards (Fig.

2.4) Unlocking the indentor After the motor has stopped automatically, release the operating button (3). Press the button (7) to return the ram to its initial position. Remove the compressed connector. Open the head if necessary (Fig. 6). 2.5) Manual release The release button (7) allows the ram to return to its initial position at any time.

Jede andere Anwendung, bei der andere als die in der Tabelle aufgeführten Anschlüsse verwendet werden, liegt außerhalb des Anwendungsbereichs des Werkzeugs und ist daher nicht geeignet, sofern sie nicht von CEMBRE genehmigt wurde.
