Locate stud behind existing shower wall to determine where the grab bar can be
safely installed. Clean portion of wall to be used for mounting
WARNING: BOTH GRAB BAR FLANGES MUST BE MOUNTED DIRECTLY INTO
WALL STUDS OR USE PLASTIC ANCHORS WHEN NO STUDS ARE AVAILABLE.

Position mounting flanges and use a pencil to mark where holes need to be
drilled. Use a 1/4" drill bit to drill pilot holes through shower wall into wood or
metal stud.
NOTE: If wall is tiled, drill through tile ONLY with a 5/16" drill bit, and then
switch to 1/4" drill bit to complete the hole.

Place rubber seals and mounting flanges
against the wall, and align with holes
(Figure 1). Insert provided mounting
screws and screw until tightened.
NOTE: If wall is tiled, insert plastic
anchors into holes before mounting.

Grasp grab bar when entering and exiting bathtub or shower. Use to stabilize when needed.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Check regularly to make sure the Wall Grab Bar is securely mounted to the wall. Use a mild detergent and warm
water to clean.
