Sample Mounting
Squeeze the grip levers to open the jaws of the grip. Slide the end of a test specimen between
the jaws and gently release the levers. Specimens may be mounted and tested using 2 grips
(uniaxial) or 4 grips (biaxial).
System Alert
When squeezing the grip levers to open the jaws, exert force as much as possible in a
linear direction through the body of the load cell to avoid off-axis or bending forces.
