How do I handle the grid and inveter output in the distribution board
2 comments:
Mr. Anderson
April 9, 2025
To handle the grid and inverter output for the HANCHU ESS HESS-OF-S-10K in the distribution board:
1. Ensure reliable wiring and correct wire sequence. 2. Install the terminal protection cover. 3. Start the inverter: - Close the battery circuit breaker. - Turn on the inverter using the rocker switch; screen and indicators will light up. - Sequentially close the circuit breakers for PV, AC input (grid), and AC output (inverter). 4. Start the connected loads one by one, from smallest to largest.
The inverter has anti-backflow functionality, meaning PV energy does not feed back into the grid unless parameter 1 is set to UTI. When set to UTI and the battery is full or disconnected, solar energy will feed back into the grid.

To connect the grid input and output for the HANCHU ESS HESS-OF-S-10K in a house distribution board:
1. Open the circuit breaker before making any AC connections to ensure safety. 2. Connect AC Input: - Connect the utility grid or generator to the AC input terminals of the inverter. - Use appropriate cable sizes as specified (e.g., 6–8 mm insulation removed, ferrule attached). - Wire the live (L), neutral (N), and ground (PE) wires according to the labeled positions.
3. Connect AC Output: - Connect the AC output terminals of the inverter to the house distribution board. - Use a 2P-63A circuit breaker and 6 AWG (13 mm²) cable for single-phase 63A output.
Ensure all wiring matches the system diagram and follow the correct order: live, neutral, and ground.

AC power not showing on inverter
1 comments:
Mr. Anderson
February 10, 2025
The AC power may not be showing on the HANCHU ESS HESS-OF-S-10K inverter due to the following reasons:
1. Connection Issues – The AC output terminals (V+, L, 0, T, V-) may not be properly connected. Check and secure all wiring. 2. Power Source Problems – The utility grid or generator may not be supplying power. Verify the input power source. 3. Inverter Fault – A system fault may be preventing AC output. Check the display panel for error indicators. 4. Over-temperature Protection – If the dust screen is blocked, airflow may be restricted, triggering an over-temperature fault. 5. Battery Issues – If the battery is under-voltage or disconnected, the inverter may not function properly. 6. Communication Errors – If the inverter is not communicating with the battery management system (BMS), it may not operate correctly.
Check the display panel for error messages and troubleshoot accordingly.
