    Safety instructions Safety instructions Intended use This device is intended for generating cold spark fountains by igniting the filled granulate. Use the device only as described in this user manual. Any other use or use under other operating conditions is considered to be improper and may result in personal injury or property damage. No liability will be assumed for damage resulting from improper use.

Do not modify the mains cable. If the insulation is damaged, immediately switch off the power supply and have it repaired. If in doubt, contact a qualified electrician. WARNING! Risk of injury caused by titanium granulate! Incorrect handling of titanium granulate can have serious health consequences.

    Installation Installation Unpack and check carefully there is no transportation damage before using the unit. Keep the equipment packaging. To fully protect the product against vibration, dust and moisture during transportation or storage use the original packaging or your own packaging material suitable for transport or storage, respectively.

    Starting up Starting up Create all connections while the device is off. Use the shortest possible high-quality cables for all connections. Take care when running the cables to prevent tripping hazards. NOTICE! Data transfer errors due to improper wiring! If the DMX connections are wired incorrectly, this can cause errors during the data transfer.
  • Page 17 Starting up Connections in DMX mode Connect the DMX input of the device to the DMX output of a DMX controller or another DMX device. Connect the output of the first DMX device to the input of the second one, and so on to form a daisy chain.

The groups are assigned to fixed DMX addresses. Devices that are set to this DMX address automatically belong to the respective group.

The status symbols on the display light up in green. If the status symbols light up in yellow, there is a malfunction, and the device has to be repaired.

After pairing, devices within radio range respond to the remote control that has been paired with the respective device.

  • Page 42 Possible damages caused by unsuitable cleaning agents Cleaning agents not approved by the manufacturer may permanently damage the device. Only use the cleaning agents listed on www.thomann.de and follow their instruc‐ tions for use. Clean the device after each use.
  • Page 43 Cleaning Clean the spark outlet with a dry cloth. Fan grids The fan grids of the device must be cleaned of any contamination, such as dust, etc. on a reg‐ ular basis. Before cleaning, switch off the device and disconnect mains-operated devices from the mains.

These materials can be sent for normal recycling. Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are disposed of in the proper manner. Do not dispose of these materials with your normal household waste, but make sure that they are collected for recycling.
