    Medema Production A/S Spinalus-3 settings Spinalus-3 is designed to stay safe to use for at least 10 years Adjusting the height of the backrest The backrest can be ad- justed up/down in several sections. The top part of the backrest is, from the factory, mount- ed in the top hole.

    Medema Production A/S Stepless adjustment of seat depth Seat depth are step less adjusted between 15 and 45 cm. Due to the construction of the back, the seat depth adjustment have no influ- ence on the other geometry in the backrest. Remove the cover on both sides.

    Medema Production A/S Adjustment of armrests Forward/backward Adjust the armrest forw./backw. Loosen these two screws - adjust - tighten the screws again. Further forward Remove the armrest, see above, and turn the bracket 180° by loosen the screw - turn bracket - tighten screw again. Angle up/down (first joint) Loose the screw - adjust - and tighten the screw again.
  • Page 7 Medema Production A/S Angle up/down (second joint) Loosen the two nuts, and by screwing the screw in or out the angle changes. By using the Angle up/down in both first and sencond joints in combination, you can raise or lower the armrest. Angle in/out Loosen the two sucket set screw so they are not visible in the “window”.

    Medema Production A/S Armrest up/down Second joint Adjust the armrest up/down. Loosen these three screws - adjust - tighten the screws again. Adjust the angle up/down in second joint, to make the armrest level again. See earlier descroption. Dismantling the armrest Remove the armrest com- pletely, by loosen the sucket set screw that holds it in place.

    Medema Production A/S Adjusting the headrest The headrest is designed to stay safe to use for at least 10 years. The headrest is multi-adjustable. Adjustments can be made in all joints. Tool: Allen key 4 mm The headrest pad can be adjusted in all directions, by loosen the four screws.

    Medema Production A/S Adjustment of the seat width The Spinalus-3 seating sys- tem is full modular seating system from 28 to 38 cm in seat width. In steps of 5 cm. When changing from one seat width to another, all that need to be changed, is the cushions.

    Medema Production A/S Dynamic recline In the outer holes (hole 1) the seat back is lowered 50 mm. You can adjust how far the seat back moves down during re- cline. Move the two screws (in both sides) as shown in the set of holes.

    Medema Production A/S Adjustment in the depth of the armrests Fold up the armrest. Two screws hold the control box to the armrest. Loosen the screws. Control box Fixing and thus the Joystick can now be moved in depth to the desired position.

    Medema Production A/S Joystick height adjustment By loosening this screw, the joystick can be adjust- ed up / down, with center in this axis. Tool: Torx T30 Find the right location. And tighten the screw again. Tool: Torx T30 This setting also affects how far the joystick folds under the armrest.

To fix the cabel again with cable ties. Tool: Allen key 4 mm Switch joystick to opposite armrest Remove the two screws that hold the swing away...
  • Page 16 Medema Production A/S When the Swing away is moved to opposite arm- rests, it no longer sits in the extension of the armrest. It needs to be adjusted. Verktøy: Torx T25 Adjust these two joints for the correct position of the Swing away Attach the cable.
