    Programming the remote control with the TV code Your remote control can be used to control some functions of most television sets. To this end, you must programme it with one of the codes provided in the table below or on page 21 of this user manual.

    • When playing a tape causes problems (scrambled pictures or black and white), you'll have to force the play mode by selecting one of the available options (PAL, SECAM, MESECAM). • If you wish to record a tape in a particular colour standard, choose one of the options displayed (PAL, SECAM, MESECAM).
