Recording operation on cassette deck
@ Synchro recording of CD playback
The cassette deck and CD player can be started
simultaneously.
1 Make the preparations for recording.
@® Insert the cassette tape in
deck B.
Tape to be recorded
@ Set the tape
transport direction.
@® Select the tape side(s)
to be recorded.

® Select the Dolby NR mode.

2 Activate the auto-bias setting.
@ After about 45 seconds, setting is completed.
@ When
you want to continue using the same type of tape,
press the
key and the same bias value as previous-
ly can be set immediately.

3 Adjust the recording level.
@ Playback CD.
@ Enter the record-
pause mode.

Press the two keys
simultaneously.
@ Adjust the recording level.

@ Make the CD stop temporarily.
As a result the indicator lights
up to + 3 dB on occasion.
4 Start playing the CD.
@ Press the numerical
keys for the number
of the music
piece to be recorded.
®@ Start playback.
@ Tape recording starts at the same time.
@ When the CD player has completed playback, the cassette
deck also stops recording and enters the stop mode.
To pause
Press the [i>/tE|key of the CD player.
To resume recording
Press the|i>/jq| key of the CD player.
To stop recording
Press the (m] key of the CD player.
@ When the i] key on the cassette deck is pressed, the cas-
sette deck enters the stop mode, but the playback of CD
does not stop.
