Basic Operation

Menu Settings

The E1 Lite dash cam offers three functional menus: Record Settings, System Settings,
and File Browsing. Customize your dash cam with these settings to suit your needs. To
access the menu settings, press the Camera (

A. Record Setup
Resolution: Change resolution with the Down (
1920x1080 (HDR) at 30FPS, 1920x1080 at 30FPS, and 1280x720 (HDR) at 30FPS.
Loop Recording: Set to 1 minute by default, adjustable to 1, 2, or 3 minutes, or
Off.
G-Sensor: Choose sensitivity level for the G-sensor for three axes (Front + Back,
Left + Right, Up + Down), with settings ranging from 1 (low sensitivity) to 5 (high
sensitivity) or Off.
Audio Recording: Toggle audio recording on or off.
Exposure: Adjust exposure of the lens; default is +0.0.
REC Status Light: Default is on but can be turned off.
Rotate Display: Default is off, with an option to rotate the display 180 degrees.
Number Plate: Set your license plate number for display in recorded videos by
pressing the Down (
Watermark: This feature allows you to toggle the watermark stamp on or off for
your videos and photos. By default, the watermark includes the date and time,
the VANTRUE brand, your license plate number, GPS location, and the speed at
which you're traveling.
