Random playback in Single play

Press RANDOM repeatedly to select the random
play mode you want, then press ENTER.
The random playback mode changes each time
RANDOM is pressed as follows.

"RandomChapter" and "RandomTitle'appear on the
screento indicatethe currentrandomplaymode.
Random playback of Video CD or CD tracks
Press RANDOM.
"Random"appearson the screen, andrandomplayback
begins.
Random playback of CDs and
Video CDs in ALL and custom play
modes
Press RANDOM repeatedly to select the random
play mode you want, then press ENTER.
The random playback mode changes each time
RANDOM is pressed as follows.
"Random 1 Disc" plays eli the tracks on the current
Video CD or CD in random order. "Random All" plays all
of the tracks on all of the discs in the current play mode
in random order. When random playback of discs is
performed, DVDs will be ignored.
To change titles, chapters, or tracks during
random play
• PressNEXT _ endthe next randomlyselectedtrack
startsplaying.
• PressPREVIOUS _ endplaybackof the current
trackstarts againfrom the beginning.
To stop random play
Press STOP II. Press CLEAR if you want to cancel
random playback end continue normal playback from the
currently selected disc and track.

• With VKleOCDs, randomplayis not po_sibleduringplayback
when the menu is displayed(Pec playback). T o perform
randomplay,start pisVoack without displaying a menu by
pressinga tracknumber buttonwhile in the stop mode,and
then pressRANDOM. However, thismay cancs_ Random play
in ALLor customplay modes,
• Random playof programmedchapters!tracks is not pes_ble.
• In the caseof DVDs,randomplaybackmay not he possible
with some discs.
• In ALL and custom playmodes, if any of the discscontain
more than 25 txack_randomplayplaysthe same numberof
tracksas thetotal numberof tracksonthe discs,bur the ITac_s
with tracknumber26 or higherare noralways playedonce.
