1. DANGER TO PERSONNEL

Before disassembling the fax, carry out the following to prevent

electric shock:

(1) Disconnect the power cord from the outlet.

(2) Disconnect the modular jack cord (telephone line) from the fax.

Precautions when servicing the fax with the power on

When you must service the fax with the power cord plugged in, you

must not ground your body with grounding wrist straps.

This is to prevent electricity passing to your body.
